Hotter'N Hell 100 (Lou Barinka)

I competed in the Hotter’N Hell Hundred (also known as The Centennial Ride from Hell) along with 12,000+ brave souls who endured a 105-degree heat index in Texas in August 2018. We were cheered on by Air Force cadets at Shepherd Air Force Base as we neared the finish line in Wichita Falls, Texas.  The Hotter’N Hell Hundred grew out of efforts to celebrate Wichita Falls 1982 centennial, because what better way to celebrate than riding 100 miles in 100-degree heat? The race is the largest single day 100-mile bicycle ride in the nation—and one of the largest in the world.
