12-Hour World Championship (Jeffrey Boltz)

Well, to close out this chapter in our quest to raise funds for Water for a people I owe a post on how I actually did in the 12-hr world championship time trial in Borrego Spings, California (http://www.24hrworlds.com/). To be honest, I did not have the day I was hoping for I completed 176.4 miles. However, that was a personal record for me. Was hot at about 98º coming off the road surface and the wind picked up, but I did what I could and dug deep to make that many miles. I finished in about the second third of the racers. Was a great race and was proud I put in the effort to train enough to get to the starting line.
